Beware of small towns , graphite and charcoal on paper, 70 x 140 cm, 2015
-
A series of unfortunate events is a set of drawings that function as a collection
of stories which thematize actual events from the public domain. As a selector of stories,
I make my drawings starting from recollections and then carefully articulating the stream of
consciousness and my investigations into various documents such as newspaper reports, video,
photographs, etc. The drawing is a link between recollection and initial information with
an aim to create new stories.
