Objects, landscapes, people is the name of a series of drawings created during my stay in Germany, after I left my home country - Serbia.
As a template to these works I used existing images. I collected and shot photos of my family, objects in my parent’s house and landscapes of my homeland. After this process, I cut, sorted, reduced, and combined these collected fragments. This way, I made collages as templates, on the basis of which I created my drawings.
Through absorption of the existing image and through their transformation and re-placement into another context, a new meaning is produced. In this sense, the meaning of these works can be read through the relationship of photographs and drawings that adopt them – no matter how much the relationship was interrupted.
